Choosing new 48 × 40 × 34 containers
The 48 × 40 footprint matches the standard GMA pallet used across North American warehouses, pallet racking and trailers, so it drops into most existing handling systems.
A nominal 48×40 footprint is useful when the handling system is already organized around that pallet size. Model dimensions can differ from the size-family label, so check rack and conveyor clearances against the exact container. This 34-inch height family adds vertical space; check the loaded stack height and access to parts at the bottom.
For a new-container purchase, specify the manufacturer and model when consistent dimensions, lids, or replacement parts matter.
Model dimensions and ratings above are listed specifications. Ask us to confirm the exact model and availability for your order.
We list 2 new 48 × 40 × 34 collapsible bulk containers. New models include Monoflo BC 4840-34, ORBIS HDR4048-34. Empty weights run 106.2–158.3 lb per container, with rated loads of 1,800–2,000 lb. Every container is HDPE with 4-way forklift entry and folds flat for return shipping. Containers ship empty from our Tampa, FL yard; LTL freight is quoted to your delivery ZIP and full truckloads are quoted separately.
A 34-inch assembled height is the outside dimension. Usable inside depth is several inches less once the base, lid and any dividers are counted, so measure parts together with their packaging and check the loaded stack height in your racking or trailer.
