Choosing new 48 × 45 × 34 containers
The 48 × 45 footprint is a common automotive returnable-packaging size. It is slightly wider than 48 × 40, giving more usable width per container for stampings and subassemblies.
The 48×45 size family offers a broader base than 48×40. Compare the actual inside width, divider arrangement, and drop-door opening when replacing an existing fleet. This 34-inch height family adds vertical space; check the loaded stack height and access to parts at the bottom.
For a new-container purchase, specify the manufacturer and model when consistent dimensions, lids, or replacement parts matter.
Model dimensions and ratings above are listed specifications. Ask us to confirm the exact model and availability for your order.
We list 2 new 48 × 45 × 34 collapsible bulk containers. New models include Monoflo BC 4844.5-34, ORBIS HDR4845-34. Empty weights run 118–153.3 lb per container, with rated loads of 1,800–2,000 lb. Every container is HDPE with 4-way forklift entry and folds flat for return shipping. Containers ship empty from our Tampa, FL yard; LTL freight is quoted to your delivery ZIP and full truckloads are quoted separately.
A 34-inch assembled height is the outside dimension. Usable inside depth is several inches less once the base, lid and any dividers are counted, so measure parts together with their packaging and check the loaded stack height in your racking or trailer.
