Shop collapsible bulk containers by brand when you need to match a fleet, meet a customer specification or compare the models each maker offers. We list new Monoflo and ORBIS containers, match Buckhorn models on request, and carry mixed-brand reconditioned and used stock in our New Jersey and Florida yards.
Shop collapsible bulk containers by brand
Brand matters most when you already run containers. Lids, doors, panels and stacking interfaces are designed around a specific model, so a plant adding to a fleet, replacing lost units or matching a customer specification usually needs the same brand and model it already uses. Brand also shapes which footprints and heights are available new. This page compares the brands we list, Monoflo, ORBIS and Buckhorn, and explains when mixed-brand used and reconditioned stock is the better buy.
If you have no brand requirement, you can just as easily start with size. The shop by footprint pages cover every size we carry, and shop by condition explains new, reconditioned and used.
The brands at a glance
Monoflo
New BC series containers, made to order in the 32×30, 48×40 and 48×45 families. A fit for matched fleets in the most common footprints. See Monoflo collapsible bulk containers.
ORBIS
New HDR series containers with the widest listed range, from 32×30 up to long 62×48, 65×48, 70×48 and 78×48 footprints. See ORBIS bulk containers.
Buckhorn
Listed as a brand and handled by model match. Send the molded model number and photos and we confirm availability first. See Buckhorn bulk containers.
Brand comparison
The table summarizes how each option is offered on this site. Footprints are nominal size families in inches; confirm the exact exterior, interior and rated capacity for the specific model.
| Option | How it is offered | Footprints in our listings | Start with |
| Monoflo | New, factory order (BC series) | 32×30, 48×40, 48×45 | Footprint, height, quantity |
| ORBIS | New, factory order (HDR series) | 32×30, 48×40, 48×45, 56×48, 62×48, 65×48, 70×48, 78×48 | Model number or footprint and height |
| Buckhorn | Model match, confirmed individually | Confirmed per model | Molded model number and photos |

What actually differs between brands
Monoflo, ORBIS and Buckhorn all make heavy-duty plastic collapsible containers, typically HDPE or polypropylene, with an integrated pallet base, 4-way forklift entry, walls that fold flat when empty and drop doors on many models. For most buyers the differences that matter are practical rather than about which brand is better:
- Model families and footprints. Each brand offers a different set of sizes and heights. ORBIS covers the long footprints in our listings; Monoflo focuses on the common sizes.
- Actual versus nominal size. A 48×45 or 48×40 label is a size family. The real exterior can differ, for example a 48×45 family listed at 48 × 44.5 inches.
- Doors, lids and dividers. Door count and position, lid design and divider options vary by model.
- Stacking interfaces. Corner and base designs differ, which is why mixed models should not be stacked together unless compatibility is confirmed.
Because these details are model-specific, confirm features for the exact model before ordering, whichever brand you choose.
Mixed-brand used and reconditioned stock
Not every job needs a single brand. Our reconditioned and used containers ship from yards in Pennsville, New Jersey and Tampa, Florida, and come in mixed brands sorted by footprint and height. They carry lower minimums than new factory orders, and pickup can be arranged at either yard.
- Reconditioned containers are inspected, cleaned and repaired before sale.
- Used containers are sold as returned from service, the lowest-cost route into collapsible containers.
Mixed-brand stock works well for floor storage, internal moves, one-way shipments and overflow capacity, where footprint matters more than matching. For applications such as warehouse and distribution storage, a mixed lot in one footprint is often all you need. If matching does matter, ask whether a lot can be supplied in a single brand and model, and keep different models in separate stacks or lanes. Product photos may be representative, so ask for photos of the lot you are buying.
Lids, dividers and replacement parts
Accessories are where brand and model matter most. A lid that seats on one model may sit loose or not fit at all on another container of the same nominal size, and divider sets are cut to a specific interior. When you order lids, dividers or replacement panels, give us the brand and molded model number of the containers they will go on. For mixed-brand lots, order accessories after the lot is confirmed so they can be matched to the models you actually receive. The manufacturing parts guide covers dividers and dunnage in more detail.
Brand first or footprint first?
- You run an existing fleet: start with brand and model number, then condition.
- A customer specifies the container: start with the specified brand and model.
- You are starting a new program: start with footprint and height, then compare brands that offer that size new.
- You need low cost or small quantities: start with footprint and look at mixed-brand reconditioned or used stock.
Matching an existing fleet
Read the molded manufacturer name and model number, measure the footprint and standing height, and photograph the base, hinges and access doors. List any lids or dividers in use. With those details we can confirm whether new, reconditioned or used units will match. If you are retiring containers rather than adding them, see sell used collapsible bulk containers.
How to order by brand and get pricing
Send the brand and model number if you have them, or the footprint and height, plus condition, quantity, lids or dividers, intended use and delivery ZIP through the request a quote form, or call 855-662-9085. LTL freight is quoted to your ZIP and full truckloads are quoted individually. We confirm the model, minimum, availability and delivered price together.
Frequently asked questions
Which brands of collapsible bulk containers do you sell?
We list new Monoflo containers in the BC series and new ORBIS containers in the HDR series, and we handle Buckhorn requests by model match. We also sell reconditioned and used collapsible containers in mixed brands from our yards in Pennsville, NJ and Tampa, FL.
Is one brand better than the others?
Not in general. Monoflo, ORBIS and Buckhorn all make heavy-duty plastic collapsible containers. The right choice depends on the model: the footprint and height you need, door and lid arrangement, rated capacity, and whether you are matching an existing fleet. Confirm features for the exact model before ordering.
Can I mix brands in the same stack?
Avoid it unless compatibility is confirmed. Containers with the same nominal footprint can differ in exterior size, corner design, lid seating and stacking interface. Keep different models in separate stacks or lanes, and tell us every model in your fleet when you request a quote so we can check fit.
What are mixed-brand used and reconditioned containers?
They are containers from our yard stock sorted by footprint and height rather than by brand. Reconditioned containers are inspected, cleaned and repaired; used containers are sold as returned from service. Both carry lower minimums than new factory orders and suit storage, internal moves and one-way shipments where matching matters less.
Why are minimums higher for new Monoflo or ORBIS containers?
New containers from Monoflo and ORBIS are factory orders produced for the order, so they carry a higher minimum quantity than yard stock. Minimums vary by condition and model. We confirm the minimum, availability and timing for your size on the quote.
What should I send to get a price?
Send the brand and model number if you have them, or the footprint and standing height, plus condition preference, quantity, any lids or dividers, intended use and delivery ZIP. Photos of an existing container help with fleet matching. You can use the request a quote form or call 855-662-9085.
